Meet Dr. Jacinda DeRoy, DVM

Jacinda DeRoy, DVM

Dr. Jacinda DeRoy joined the Grace Animal Hospital family in October of 2007. She is originally from Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Since earning her degree, Dr. DeRoy has practiced in several states including South Dakota, Alabama and North Carolina. In August of 2007, she moved from Raleigh, North Carolina in order to follow a job opportunity for her husband, Brian, who works in the television industry.

Dr. DeRoy enjoys working with both small animals and their owners in order to preserve the very special bond between people and pets. She particularly enjoys managing endocrine diseases such as diabetes and thyroid disorders as well as working with geriatric pets. Dr. DeRoy is a member of the American Veterinary Association and will soon become a member of the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians.

Dr. DeRoy has been working on a part time basis since the birth of her daughter, Clara, in February of 2007. In addition to a busy baby, she and her husband share their home with a Retriever mix named Sandy as well as their cats Sunny, Larry and Jimmy. She is very excited about moving to South Carolina and starting work at Grace Animal Hospital!
